Soul Death

Negation is social

Social death

BY a person next to you

Economic independence

A butterfly

Why bother?

Chasing the non catchable

Lingering in the doldrums

Where is the wind to my sails?Image

Forever and a day

There is none

Year after year

In trapped society

Democracy is losing

So am I

Stars of the Night

Stars of the Night.
Stars of the Night.

In the quiet of the night

I hear your car take flight

A rush of sheer road delight

Through dark cool night

A feather falls free

Sound returns silence

Relief in silent release

Soft silent night

Sews a black velvet dress

Black sky shimmers

Stars of the night

My hot warm cloud

meets your cold sea fog

now the rain falls,

rolls, a rush of tears

droplets linger

and then a wind blows,

all away,

it’s another day.

"There are souls, in these noise-tired times, that turn aside into unfrequented lanes, where the deep woods have harbored the fragrances of many a blossoming season. Here the light, filtering through perfect forms, arranges itself in lovely patterns for those who perceive beauty." Roy J.Cook
