Who or What is God?

Once God was a woman
then a man.
Can God morph
like transformer toys?
Old Testament God
was vengeful
killer of enemies
thrown forever in Hell.
New Testament God
loving, forever forgiving.

Today´s God
is intelligent energy
that exhibits love,
knowledge in the form of Light.
Primary Creator
sending out sparks
of clone co-creators
to work in duality,
ultimately expressing the Divine,
then returning to Source.

Does God change
or only our perception?
Perhaps it is we
who morph.

In Syria, a campaign of violent terrorism has been going on since 2011. Over 150,000 people are estimated to have already been killed. Millions have been displaced, forced to become refugees, either within Syria, or in neighboring countries.

Since beginning of this violent insurgency campaign against the Syrian Arab Republic, the terrorists have received foreign support for their efforts. Support has come from US aligned regimes such as Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, as well as directly from the United States.

The US aligned gulf states have not denied arming and supporting the violent insurgent groups. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia especially, has been vocal in its support for the violent overthrow of the Syrian Arab Republic. Most of the insurgent groups fighting the Syrian government are fanatical Sunni Muslims. They talk of creating a “caliphate” in Syria, and punishing, if not…

I See Her. On seeing deaths in Eastern Ukraine, people fleeing, where a democracy should have spared them.

St. Brigit's Cross.
St. Brigit’s Cross.

When I see her

A freeze frame

On digital air

Pain passes pity

As in strife

She turns to let go

A last glance at life

She leaves her elements

To earth’s seas and stars

Never hearing, soothing laments.

I see her, I see our life, there.

She is, you, me.

Her lost love

Taken by stealth

No blessing, no comfort.

A witness to death.

A record, an image

For posterity’s breath.

Her soul, for safety,

Joining souls in ether’s air.

Her life,

Life’s dear wish. Lost.

As society flees,

Rage and

The River of Life. Runs to the Sea.
The River of Life. Runs to the Sea.
Mother and baby
Mother and baby

Blood red seas.

Evil has stolen

Her human dress.

Evil has left,

Love bereft.

Criminals cut love’s tender root.

Cruel hate

War’s crushing truth.

War’s command fears flight.

As love beams light,

Through dark cold night.

A lighthouse lamp

Shines laser white.

For her, forever, for everyone,

For love is infinite.

Curve of Light

Sapphire Blue

Draws Midnight.

She walks, by

Roses in Bloom.

Quietly,

Love lingers,

In Natures room.

Silence is, the Sickle Moon.

Petals Drift

Drifting Hill and Tree.

Drifting osmosis deep,

Her love must Sleep.

She let’s go,

Into the Deep.

Deep Sapphire Sleep.

A curve of moonbeam,

On ocean’s blue.

Is anyone there?

Not now, not here.

A Silver Ship,

In moonlit  flight.

She will never know.

She sails, a universe of light.

She sails, calmly, free.

As midnight falls,

On a Sapphire Sea.

AS IF STILL BURNING

Ethics are low on the agenda.

hiroshima before    hiroshima after

This week marked the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. Today marks  the anniversary of an even more grotesque event – the dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. Three days later the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. These remain the only use of nuclear weapons in warfare.

Some 12 km² of Hiroshima were destroyed, as were around 69% of the city’s buildings. The images above, which were taken by the US military on the day, show Hiroshima before and after the bombing. Some 66,000 people are thought to have died in Hiroshima on the day; probably a similar number again died over the next four months as a result of their injuries or from radiation sickness. So fierce was the heat that people were vaporised but their shadows left upon the walls.

In the years since the…

"There are souls, in these noise-tired times, that turn aside into unfrequented lanes, where the deep woods have harbored the fragrances of many a blossoming season. Here the light, filtering through perfect forms, arranges itself in lovely patterns for those who perceive beauty." Roy J.Cook
